Built and sold Tweet Hunter and Taplio; now runs a $1M/month AI portfolio led by Revid

About Thibault Louis-Lucas (Tibo)

Thibault Louis-Lucas, known online as Tibo, is a French serial founder who went from a string of failed startups, including a venture-backed company that ended in bankruptcy, to one of the biggest bootstrapped success stories in the build-in-public scene. In 2021 he reset with a simple rulebook: solve a real pain, ship fast, talk to users and charge early. He and his co-founder shipped 11 products in 11 weeks, and the eleventh, Tweet Hunter, took off almost immediately.

Tweet Hunter and its LinkedIn sibling Taplio helped creators find viral content, write posts with AI and schedule them. After he was named Product Hunt's Maker of the Year for 2022, both products were sold to lemlist's parent company lempire in a deal reported at up to $8–10M, much of it tied to an earnout; he helped grow them to around $8M ARR and has since called the earnout structure a mistake he would not repeat.

Tibo now runs a small studio of AI and growth products: Revid for automated short-form videos, Outrank for SEO content on autopilot, SuperX for growing on X, PostSyncer, Feather for Notion-powered blogs, Squad and Bazzly. He says the portfolio does around $1M per month, and he shares the playbook weekly with a newsletter audience of more than 85,000 founders.

Tweet Hunter and Taplio depended heavily on social platforms, which could shut them down at any moment, so the founders wanted a deal that rewarded their fast growth while protecting the buyer from platform risk.
