Claim your indie maker profile

317 indie makers have a researched profile on IndieMakerList. If you're one of them, claim it with a single post on X: you get a ✓ Claimed badge and a direct line for updates. No account, no password, no forms.

How claiming works

  1. Find your profile on the makers page or search for your name.
  2. Click “Claim on X” in the sidebar. It opens a pre-filled post linking to your profile. Publish it from the X account shown on your profile. That public post is the proof you own the profile.
  3. We mark it as claimed. John Rush checks claim posts and adds the ✓ Claimed badge, usually within a few days.
  4. Send updates any time with “Suggest an edit” on your profile, or by DM to @johnrush: new products, revenue with a public source, milestones, corrections.

Why claim it

  • ✓ Claimed badge

Visitors, journalists and buyers know the profile is confirmed by you.

  • Accurate, current data

Your products, stack, milestones and revenue stay up to date across the site.

  • Show up in more places

Profiles feed comparisons, journeys, the annual report and Ask the Makers answers.

  • A permanent, indexed page

One link that sums up everything you've built, ready for your bio.

Verified revenue

Claiming confirms who you are. It does not verify your numbers. Revenue on IndieMakerList is self-reported and always linked to a public source.

Claiming FAQ

How do I claim my profile on IndieMakerList?

Open your profile, click “Claim on X” and publish the pre-filled post from the X account shown on your profile. The public post proves you own the account; we then mark the profile as claimed, usually within a few days.

What do I get when I claim my profile?

A ✓ Claimed badge on your profile, priority for edits (new products, revenue updates, corrections), and your profile is kept fresh in future guides, reports and comparisons.

Is claiming free?

Yes. Claiming and editing your profile is free. Featured or sponsored placements are a separate, optional thing.

My profile has no X handle. How do I claim it?

DM @johnrush on X from your account, or reply to one of his posts, with a link to your profile and a link from your own website or GitHub that points to that X account.

Can I have my revenue verified?

We don't verify revenue ourselves. We recommend TrustMRR (trustmrr.com), which verifies revenue directly from Stripe and other payment providers. Send us your TrustMRR page and your profile gets a Verified on TrustMRR badge.

Can I remove my profile?

Yes. Use “Request an edit or removal” on your profile or DM @johnrush on X and we'll take it down.
