About Hitesh Choudhary
Hitesh Choudhary is an Indian programming educator from Jaipur, Rajasthan, who runs two large YouTube channels: his English-language channel and the Hindi channel Chai aur Code, together reaching well over a million subscribers. He is known for an informal, practical teaching style that mixes coding with stories from his travels to dozens of countries.
He built LearnCodeOnline (LCO), a bootstrapped Jaipur-based coding education platform, which was acquired by the edtech company iNeuron in an all-stock deal in April 2022. Choudhary then served as iNeuron's CTO and later as a senior director at PhysicsWallah after it took over iNeuron.
After stepping away from corporate roles he went back to independent teaching full time. His current brand, ChaiCode, runs live cohorts on web development, generative AI, mobile development and system design, alongside recorded courses, Udemy bootcamps, events and a mobile app.
