About Francesco Di Lorenzo
Francesco Di Lorenzo, known online as Frank, is an Italian developer and the co-founder of Typefully with designer Fabrizio Rinaldi. Typefully is a workspace for writing, scheduling and publishing posts across X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and other platforms, and now pitches itself to teams and AI agents as well as individual creators.
Francesco and Fabrizio met on Twitter and first built Boxy and Boxy Suite, Mac clients for Gmail. In late 2018 they left their jobs to work on their own products full time under the Superlinear name, launching Unreadit and then Mailbrew, a tool that turns feeds from Twitter, Reddit, RSS and YouTube into email digests. Mailbrew was sold in 2022 and Typefully became their main focus.
The pair are one of the better-known examples of a small, bootstrapped Italian indie team; Fabrizio's X bio puts Typefully at around $2M ARR.
