ARR = MRR × 12. MRR (monthly recurring revenue) counts only subscription revenue normalised to a month: annual plans divided by 12, no one-off purchases, setup fees or lifetime deals. ARR is the same number expressed per year. $5,000 MRR is $60,000 ARR.

Do lifetime deals or one-off sales count toward MRR?
No. MRR and ARR only count recurring subscription revenue. One-time purchases are revenue but not recurring revenue.
How long does it take to get to $10K MRR?
It depends entirely on growth and churn. At 8% monthly growth and 3% churn, going from $5,000 to $10,000 MRR takes about 15 months. Many makers in the directory took two to four years to reach their first $10K MRR.
