Wilson Wilson

Wilson Wilson is a young Nigerian software developer and indie founder who became one of the best-known faces of the build-in-public community on X. He discovered indie hacking right after finishing high school by watching makers like Tony Dinh, Pieter Levels, Jon Yongfook and Tibo share their work publicly, and wrote the first line of code for Senja, a tool for collecting and sharing text and video testimonials, in late 2021.

About a month after he launched Senja as a side project, marketer Olly Meakings messaged him on X with ideas for turning it into a real business, and the two became co-founders without ever meeting in person. Wilson served as CTO. Senja landed its first paying customer in June 2022, reached $1K MRR that December, passed $10K MRR in August 2023 and $50K MRR in October 2024, and by May 2025 was at roughly $800K ARR, with the product used millions of times a week.

In May 2025 he announced he was stepping down from Senja and selling his shares to Olly after struggling to find a working rhythm, and he formally left that summer. He then built Ferndesk, an AI-native help centre whose agent reads a company's codebase, support tickets and changelogs to draft and keep documentation up to date. He launched it publicly in August 2025 and shared every milestone in public: $1K MRR three months after launch, $2K after 228 days, $3K in February 2026 and $5K MRR by June 2026, when he was 22.
