About Cory Zue

Cory Zue is a software engineer who left a long career as a startup CTO to become a solo founder running several small internet businesses. His flagship product is SaaS Pegasus, a paid Django and Python starter kit that gives developers authentication, billing, teams, AI features and a modern front end out of the box so they can launch SaaS apps faster.

Alongside Pegasus he runs Place Card Me, a web app for designing and printing wedding and event place cards, Scriv, a private AI chatbot with Slack integration, and Chat Stats, a small analytics tool for chat data. He also built the SaaS Starters boilerplate directory, which he later sold.

Cory writes detailed monthly and yearly retrospectives on his blog and Indie Hackers, sharing what worked, what flopped and roughly how each business is trending. He lives in Cape Town, South Africa, and also publishes Django and SaaS tutorials on YouTube.
