Australian solo developer who made the 2025 breakout hit Schedule I
Facts checked 2026-10-22
Tyler is an Australian game developer who publicly goes only by his first name and releases games under TVGS (Tyler's Video Game Studio). He built Schedule I, a first-person crime and business-management sim set in the fictional city of Hyland Point, largely on his own.
Schedule I entered Steam early access on 24 March 2025 and, boosted by Twitch and TikTok streamers, shot to the top of Steam's best-seller chart. It peaked at more than 459,000 concurrent players, a record for a solo developer on Steam at the time, and won the Breakthrough Award at the 2025 Golden Joystick Awards. Analytics firm Alinea estimated it had sold around 8.2 million copies (about $126M gross) by May 2025; TVGS has not published official totals.
With the proceeds Tyler turned TVGS into a small studio with an office in Sydney, hiring a second developer and planning a team of about four to keep updating Schedule I through early access.

Schedule I was made by Tyler, an Australian developer who works under the name TVGS (Tyler's Video Game Studio). He built the game almost entirely solo before hiring help in 2026.
TVGS has not published official numbers, but Alinea Analytics estimated about 8.2 million copies and roughly $126 million in gross revenue by May 2025, about two months after launch.
Third-party estimates put Schedule I at around $126 million gross by May 2025 (Alinea Analytics). Steam's cut, taxes and refunds mean the developer's take is lower, and Tyler has not disclosed earnings.
Tyler is from Australia, and TVGS now has an office in Sydney.
As of 2026 Tyler is expanding TVGS into a small studio of about four people and continuing to develop Schedule I in early access.
Tyler (TVGS) has been building independently since 2025, about 1 years.
