Co-founder of ScrapingBee, bootstrapped to $5M ARR and sold to Oxylabs
About Pierre de Wulf
Pierre de Wulf is a French software engineer and the co-founder of ScrapingBee, a web scraping API he built with his high-school friend Kevin Sahin starting in 2019.
The two had previously co-founded PricingBot, a price-monitoring service for e-commerce. With ScrapingBee they leaned on content marketing and SEO, and Pierre ran the technical and product side. The company joined TinySeed's Spring 2020 batch but was otherwise run lean, growing to more than 2,500 customers and around $5M ARR with a team of about six.
In June 2025 ScrapingBee was acquired by the Oxylabs group in an all-cash, eight-figure deal. Pierre now writes about growth, SEO and tech on X and is acquiring developer-tool, API and data SaaS businesses.
