Matt Giovanisci

Matt Giovanisci is a Colorado-based creator who turned decades of pool and hot tub know-how into Swim University, an online education business. He started helping pool owners in New Jersey in 1996 and launched SwimUniversity.com in 2006 to teach pool and hot tub care through articles, videos, ebooks, courses and an app.

Swim University says it has reached more than 10 million homeowners, with around 345K YouTube subscribers, 195K email subscribers and 4.5 million annual visitors, and it is run by Matt with a small crew of writers and creators. On his personal site he says the business generates close to a million dollars a year.

Giovanisci also writes and podcasts about building a lifestyle business that runs on roughly 10 hours of work a week, sharing his experiments with niche sites and side projects for other online creators.
