Indie iOS developer behind CardioBot and NapBot, writer of Swift with Majid
Majid Jabrayilov is an independent iOS developer and SwiftUI educator known for the Swift with Majid blog, which he has published weekly since 2018, and the SwiftUI Weekly newsletter. After years in corporate iOS work he moved to full-time indie development around 2019 to 2020, building health-focused apps for iPhone and Apple Watch.
His apps include CardioBot, which turns Apple Watch heart and activity data into an overview of a user's lifestyle with recommendations based on American Heart Association guidance, and NapBot, an automatic sleep tracker that uses on-device machine learning to detect and analyze sleep. Both have been covered by Apple-focused outlets such as 9to5Mac.
