About Dominic Monn
Dominic Monn is the founder and CEO of MentorCruise, a marketplace for 1:1 mentorship with experts in software engineering, product, AI, design and business. He launched it in 2018 at age 20, working on it during a long commute while employed as a software and machine learning engineer.
He bootstrapped MentorCruise from a rough MVP to a profitable marketplace, reporting around $24K per month in commissions in early 2023 and later close to $40K per month to Starter Story. Before and alongside it he built more than a dozen side projects, which he has written about publicly, and he has appeared on Indie Hackers, The Bootstrapped Founder and Indie Bites.
