Product Hunt Maker of the Year 2018 behind Sheet2Site, Web3 Jobs and SearchConsole.ai

About Andrey Azimov

Andrey Azimov is a Ukrainian indie maker who has been shipping small internet products while living on the road for years. In March 2018 he quit his job and gave himself one year, which he called the Hardcore Year, to reach $1,000 in monthly recurring revenue from his own products. He documented the whole experiment publicly, launched a stream of apps along the way, and was named Product Hunt's Maker of the Year for 2018. He hit the $1K MRR goal in May 2019.

His breakout product was Sheet2Site, a no-code website builder that turns a Google Sheet into a website with filters, images and links. It grew past $10K in monthly revenue with high margins and was acquired in 2021, as was its sibling Chart2Site, which turns spreadsheet data into live web charts. Earlier, his Mac utility MacBook Alarm had also been acquired, and side projects like Progress Bar OSX and Dark Mode List earned coverage from Fast Company, Lifehacker and TechCrunch.

In 2021 he started Web3 Jobs (web3.career), a job board for crypto and Web3 roles, and contributed Bootstrap support to Rails 7. He has since launched more than 20 startups, recently focusing on AI tools such as Applicant AI, an AI applicant tracking system, and SearchConsole.ai, which connects Google Search Console data to AI agents via MCP.
