The story of Sheet2Site

Sheet2Site is a no-code website builder that turns a Google Sheet into a website with filters, images and links. Andrey Azimov launched the first version in March 2018 as one of many side projects during his self-imposed Hardcore Year, an experiment in shipping lots of products quickly to find one with market fit, and followed it with Sheet2Site 2.0 in March 2019.

Azimov ran it alone, handling development, design, support and marketing. Over three years, thousands of companies and tens of thousands of people used it to build sites from spreadsheets.

On 21 June 2021 Azimov announced that Sheet2Site had been acquired by Neil Witten, a UK-based software entrepreneur with SaaS experience. The terms were not disclosed. Existing customers kept their plans and subscriptions, and Witten said he planned to keep developing the product.
