Filipe Deschamps

Filipe Deschamps is a Brazilian software developer and educator who has become one of the most recognizable programming voices in Portuguese. He has worked across every side of the industry: hobby coder, freelancer, company founder, employee and manager, including serving as CTO of the Brazilian payments company Pagar.me in 2018.

His YouTube channel on programming has tens of millions of views, and he runs a fast-to-read technology newsletter with more than 100,000 subscribers. With the Brazilian open source community he leads TabNews, a site for high-signal programming and tech content that briefly topped GitHub's global trending ranking after launch. He is also the author of popular open source projects such as cep-promise, doom-fire-algorithm and video-maker.

His main product is curso.dev, a long-form programming course in which students rebuild TabNews from scratch while learning engineering fundamentals and career lessons. The course is sold with lifetime access at a pre-launch price, with new lessons added over time.
