Elie Steinbock

Elie Steinbock is a founder and full-stack engineer in Tel Aviv who builds open-source products and shares what he learns on YouTube. His main focus is Inbox Zero, an open-source AI assistant for email launched in December 2023 that drafts replies in the user's voice, archives noise and helps keep the inbox empty. It has more than 15,000 signups, reached #1 on GitHub Trending and Product Hunt, and offers a paid hosted version alongside self-hosting. Inbox Zero joined the TinySeed accelerator for bootstrapped companies in 2025.

Before that, Steinbock built Draft Fantasy, a draft-style fantasy football game for the English Premier League that he scaled to about 270,000 users on Meteor, and Skilled, a freelance agency matching senior Israeli developers with companies, which he says grew to seven figures. He also experimented in crypto with projects such as CryptoFighters.

In 2026 he launched a cluster of open-source AI agent projects, including Rakazo, an open-source alternative to Grok Bot, the Bot Directory and hi.new, and Brief My Meeting, which also hit #1 on Product Hunt.
