About AJ
AJ (ajlkn) is a designer and developer best known as the solo maker of Carrd, a builder for simple, responsive one-page websites such as landing pages, profiles and portfolios. Carrd launched in 2016 and became one of the most cited examples of a profitable product built and run largely by one person.
Before Carrd he made HTML5 UP, a collection of free responsive HTML templates used across the web, and Pixelarity, a paid template library. He keeps a low profile, rarely gives interviews and mostly posts Carrd updates on X.
