Marie Poulin

Marie Poulin is a Canadian designer, educator and workflow strategist best known for Notion Mastery, a flagship online course teaching individuals and small teams to build life and business systems in Notion. Based in British Columbia, they hold an Honours Bachelor of Design and certificates in design thinking and permaculture design, and have more than a decade of experience in design, strategy and technology.

Before focusing on Notion, Marie worked with entrepreneurs to plan and build their digital ecosystems: packaging offers, launching online courses and automating processes. They co-founded the studio Oki Doki with their husband and business partner Ben Borowski, a Notion Certified Consultant, and the pair now focus on helping entrepreneurs and small teams run their businesses on Notion.

Notion Mastery launched in late 2019 and grew quickly; by the end of 2020 it had more than 700 active students, and a 2026 Kit case study cited over 2,100 students and roughly $40K a month in course revenue. Marie also sells free, paid and pay-what-you-want Notion templates and publishes videos on YouTube.

Marie was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and speaks openly about designing work around neurodivergent brains, non-traditional schedules and avoiding burnout. Their interest in permaculture shapes how they think about sustainable, resilient businesses.
