Jordan Hughes

Jordan Hughes is an Australian product designer and the creator of Untitled UI, which he describes as the largest and best-selling UI kit and design system for Figma. He came to design unusually late: he studied management and finance at UTS in Sydney, worked in operations roles at fast-growing startups, and only moved into product design in 2019. Before that he was the second employee at the Australian investment platform Spaceship, where he designed pitch decks used in its fundraising, and he later served as Head of Design at the cybersecurity company UpGuard.

He launched Untitled UI in 2021 as a Figma kit sold with one-time pricing alongside a free version. It expanded into Untitled UI Icons, Webflow and Relume component libraries built on the same system, and in 2025 Untitled UI React, an open-source React component library built with Tailwind CSS and React Aria, with paid PRO tiers. His site reports more than 320,000 users and over 2,200 five-star reviews for the Figma kit.

Besides Untitled UI, Hughes built Good Books, a curated site of book recommendations that started from his own reading lists and was later sold, and co-founded Himalayas, a remote job board. He keeps a deliberately low-meeting way of working and shares design work regularly on Dribbble and X.
