Danny Postma

Danny Postma is a Dutch indie founder best known for spotting AI product opportunities early. Before the AI wave he built design resources such as Landingfolio, a gallery of landing page inspiration, and Inspireframe. In 2020 he got early access to GPT-3 and launched Headlime, an AI copywriting tool for marketers, which he sold to Conversion.ai (later Jasper) in March 2021 for a seven-figure sum only about eight months after launch.

When image models took off he moved into AI photography, experimenting with projects like ProfilePicture.ai and Deep Agency before focusing on HeadshotPro, an AI service that turns casual selfies into professional business headshots for individuals and teams. HeadshotPro, run through a Singapore-based company, says it has served nearly 200,000 customers and created close to 18 million headshots, and it is widely cited as one of the most successful bootstrapped AI products.

Postma runs his products under a small studio called Postcrafts and occasionally shares the process of building HeadshotPro on X. He is known for picking unglamorous, practical use cases, investing heavily in SEO and landing page conversion, and keeping a tiny team.
