Atta Ur Rehman Shah

Atta Ur Rehman Shah, known online as Atta or attacomsian, is a solo founder and software engineer from Pakistan who runs Fore Studio, his one-person product studio, and co-founded Remoteen. He has published programming tutorials on attacomsian.com since 2018, building an archive of more than 500 articles on Java, JavaScript, Node.js and Spring Boot that drew a large developer audience.

Fore Studio began in 2020 building products for clients. Wanting to own his work, he stopped taking client projects and started shipping his own. His portfolio now includes Vitals, an Activity Monitor alternative for Mac that groups processes under their apps and keeps 30 days of history (it sold over 1,100 licenses in its first days), and Flit, a fully local dictation app for Mac positioned as a no-subscription alternative to Wispr Flow.

For founders he runs StartupBase, a product launch and discovery platform, and AcquireBase, a marketplace for buying and selling small internet businesses. Through Remoteen he co-runs Depost AI, a set of AI agents that plan, write, design and schedule LinkedIn posts. He builds in public and is unusually explicit about disclosing his own products when he writes about them.
