Bhanu Teja P

Bhanu Teja P is an Indian software developer and indie founder known for building and selling Feather and then launching SiteGPT, one of the early AI chatbot products to reach five-figure MRR. He builds largely on his own and tweets openly about his revenue journey.

His first notable product was Feather, a tool that turns a Notion workspace into an SEO-friendly blog. After growing it to around $6K MRR he sold it for about $250K to fellow indie hacker Tibo Louis-Lucas.

Noticing that his Feather customers all had blogs, he built SiteGPT in about two weeks in 2023: a chatbot trained on a website's own content that answers visitors' questions. It hit roughly $10K MRR in its first month, then lost about half its customers to churn before recovering and growing past that level. He is now also building Squad, a product for AI teammates, and is publicly documenting SiteGPT's path toward $1M ARR.
